Collaboration
Partnering with teachers to delivery highly engaging, tech-infused learning experiences has been a highlight of my time as an Instructional Coach and as a Talent Development Resource Teacher.
Simple Machines Stories
In this project, I collaborated with a teacher to create the opportunity for students to communicate their understanding of simple machines. Recording themselves using Flipgrid, students demonstrated models of simple machines, described their function, and identified real-world instances of its use.
Swivl
Coaching a teacher who had set a goal for herself of giving meaningful feedback to students within the context of a lesson, we used the Swivl to record and analyze her movement through the classroom and interactions with students. Analysis of the data led to an equity audit of the teacher's distribution of her time giving feedback during the lesson and ultimately resulted in more meaningful and more equitable interactions with students.
Podcast Project
I collaborated with a Media Specialist and a Learning Technology Integrator to develop a learning experience centered around podcasting. Using Flipgrid, teams of students recorded their rendition of a well-known fairy tale.
